Our mission is clear:
Promoting Exceptional Talent for the World Stage.
Founded in 2003 by German-born music promoter Bernd Häber, and based in Phoenix, Arizona (USA), The New Sound Experience © evolved from a lifelong dedication to cultural connection through music. As an agent, promoter, and presenter of traditional and contemporary music, Bernd has collaborated with musicians across continents.
For over two decades, he has successfully organized concerts, curated tours, and built partnerships with venues, organizations, and artists throughout the United States and Europe — always using music as a universal language to promote mutual understanding and peaceful cultural exchange.
As a testament to its credibility and continued relevance in the global music scene, The New Sound Experience © holds active memberships in some of the most respected and influential organizations in the music industry, including:
A global leader in celebrating musical excellence, this membership places us at the heart of the professional community that shapes the future of music.
The premier trade publication for the live entertainment industry, where our presence ensures direct access to industry trends, booking intelligence, and global tour data.
As part of this diverse and international network, we champion the preservation, innovation, and cross-pollination of folk, roots, and world music traditions.
A committed supporter of the heritage and future of the blues, we align with this organization’s mission to keep blues culture alive through performance, education, and advocacy.
In 2003, Pete Seeger, together with Tom Paxton, officially endorsed the DAFT-Tour. Their support marked the beginning of a legacy of inspirations that have guided the mission of Worldstrings Promotion and now The New Sound Experience ©.
Pete responded to one of our letters with the powerful phrase:
“Keep Bringing People Together Through the Power of Music” —
an inspiration that, with his permission, became a cornerstone of our mission statement.
Following our attendance at Pete Seeger's monumental 90th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City in May 2009, we were deeply honored to receive the following personal inscription from him in a book dedicated to his work:
"Bernd – if you get this book signed by some of the hundreds (thousands?) of songwriters now in this part of the world, perhaps you can encourage songwriting around the world – Asia, Africa, Latin America, as well as Europe and islands everywhere. Our songs may overleap barriers of religion, or politics, and will perhaps bring our world together before it blows itself apart. Who knows! old Peter Seeger – June 2009"
Since then, these inspirations from Pete Seeger have been shared with countless artists around the world. His words continue to echo through every collaboration, showcase, and performance we help bring to life — a timeless reminder of music’s power to unite.
Since receiving Pete Seeger’s heartfelt inscription in 2009, we have carried his words and spirit into every project and performance. With his blessing, we’ve shared his message — “Keep Bringing People Together Through the Power of Music” — with artists across the globe. Many of these remarkable individuals have embraced that call, contributing to a growing network of musical voices committed to unity, justice, and cultural connection.
